Anjeka 7425 modified siloxane wetting agent for two-component polyurethane TEGO4000

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-7425 is a modified siloxane wetting agent for aqueous coatings, printing inks and overprint varnish, which can strongly reduce surface tension and significantly improve substrate wetting performance, effectively preventing shrinkage and excellent defoaming and foam inhibition effects.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT

Layering or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5 °C. Heat to 20 °C and mix thoroughly.

Storage is not recommended for more than 12 months.

SPECIAL NOTES

Long-term stability in coating systems with a pH of 4-10. To avoid turbidity, a small amount of co-solvent (approx. 5% of the total solvent) is required in the formulation of Anjeka-7425. In systems with a high co-solvent content, the effectiveness of the silicone surfactant is reduced and we recommend Anjeka-7333 for this type of formulation.

The additive effectively reduces static surface tension and dynamic surface tension, is highly compatible and easy to mix, improves substrate wetting properties and has excellent anti-foaming and defoaming properties. The additive does not increase the surface slip. If higher surface slip is required, it is recommended to add Anjeka-7333.

This additive is recommended for all aqueous coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes with the addition of a small amount of co-solvent.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

0.05-0.5% of additives (in purchased form) based on total formulation.

The above figures are empirical and the optimum amount should be determined through a series of tests.

This additive can be added at any stage of production, but we recommend adding it at the final stage of coating production.
